Hang Seng Index falls 20 points at midday to 23,952

The Hang Seng Index closed at midday at 23,952, down 20 points, with half-day main board turnover nearing $54.6 billion. The property sub-index fell nearly 1%, while HSBC and AIA dropped more than 1%; the tech index stood at 4,169 at midday, up nearly 0.3%, with Zhipu and Lenovo Group rising nearly half a per cent, and Hua Hong Semiconductor and Tianshu Zhixin gaining nearly 4% or more.
