Kenneth Fok: Sports Industrialisation Requires Government, Business and Community Cooperation, Urges Government to Bid for Major Events and Long-Term Business Sponsorship

Kenneth Fok said in an interview with this newspaper that achieving the sports elite, mega-event, professional and industrial development set out in the Five-Year Plan requires cooperation among government, business and the community. He suggested the government help sports associations bid for major events to be hosted in Hong Kong, and hoped more businesses would participate in sports mega-events on a long-term basis, while sports associations must ensure good corporate governance.
