New Huanggang Port crossing tested: on-the-spot registration for self-service channel takes under a minute; Michael Tien urges adding bypass to ease traffic

The new Huanggang Port officially opened this morning (12th). Our reporter tested it at around 10am, finding that on-the-spot registration for the "co-inspection, single release" self-service channel took under one minute to clear, while the manual counter took about one minute. Michael Tien said buses were stuck in traffic for over half an hour this morning when approaching San Tin Public Transport Interchange, and suggested the authorities add a bypass to ease traffic flow.
