Fire Services Department intercepts private car suspected of illegal refuelling at Shek Kip Mei Estate, tracing persons involved

The Fire Services Department intercepted a private car suspected of being used for illegal refuelling at a car park in Shek Kip Mei Estate, finding large containers capable of storing about 1,000 litres of fuel as well as refuelling equipment, and is tracing the persons involved. After receiving a public report, the department searched the scene and, together with the Sham Shui Po District Office, the Housing Department and others, held an emergency meeting to step up patrols of car parks in estates in the district.
