Chain yoga centre Ganbanyoku Yoga closes all branches, instructors seek union help over unpaid wages

Chain yoga and sports centre Ganbanyoku Yoga ceased operations across all branches last Thursday. As of 6pm yesterday, the Customs and Excise Department received 627 reports involving about $7 million. A notice at the centre's branches said staff would be paid by tomorrow at the latest. Lee Yuet-man, president of the Hong Kong Leisure and Sports Professionals Association, said it had received fewer than 10 requests for help, mainly from instructors, and urged employees to gather their contract documents for follow-up.
