Demand for therapy dogs remains strong: Hong Kong scheme fully booked until February 2027

Animals Asia's Dr Dog and Professor Paws therapy dog scheme is fully booked until February 2027, with demand from schools, hospitals and elderly homes continuing to exceed the available visiting slots. The scheme operates with 1 staff member and 65 volunteers and their dogs, with volunteers bearing most of the cost of transporting the dogs and regularly visiting venues across Hong Kong. Karina said: "It would be impossible without the volunteers."
