Abby Choi case resumes at High Court; mother Cheung Yuen-fa says daughter had the means to own both Kadoorie Hill and Tuen Mun properties

The Abby Choi case resumed at the High Court on the 7th. Her mother, Cheung Yuen-fa, testified that Abby Choi had sufficient means to buy the Tuen Mun property without selling the Kadoorie Hill unit, and that she had planned to "take back" the property because Kwong Kong-chi did not hold a proper job. The defence said Abby Choi had invested only $800,000, rather than $2 million, in the business, and disputed whether she was the registered owner of Whampoa Garden.
