Male worker falls to death from 13th floor working platform at Tung Chung Yuet Fung Court site

An industrial fatal accident occurred at the Home Ownership Scheme construction site of Yuet Fung Court at 12 Fei Tung Street, Tung Chung. A 34-year-old male worker surnamed Chin fell from height at around 1pm today and was certified dead after being rushed to North Lantau Hospital for treatment. Police classified the case as an industrial accident. The Housing Department said the worker was on the exterior wall of the 13th floor, dismantling the working platform used to remove the temporary supports for anchoring the tower crane.
