Rosanna Law: Sites Being Sought for Discounted Set-Building Venues to Cut Local Film Production Costs

Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism Rosanna Law says the government is pursuing a two-pronged approach to boost the local film industry, funding outstanding works with market value through the Film Development Fund on one hand, and setting up a dedicated support team to attract local and overseas production crews to film in Hong Kong and secure opportunities for local behind-the-scenes talent to take part in major international productions on the other. The authorities are actively seeking sites for discounted set-building venues to reduce local film production costs.
