Electoral Affairs Commission Chairman Patrick Luk Kin-hong inspects the Electoral Officer's office for the Election Committee election as nomination period begins tomorrow

The nomination period for the general election of the Election Committee subsectors begins tomorrow (7 October) and ends on 20 October, with the election to be held on 22 November. Electoral Affairs Commission Chairman Justice Patrick Luk Kin-hong visited the Electoral Officer's office at the Government Headquarters in Tamar on 6 October to learn about the process for receiving nomination forms and the venue preparations. Candidates must submit their forms in person during the nomination period and pay a deposit of HK$1,000. Nomination forms must be signed by at least 5 voters of the relevant subsector.
