Garden逾700 primary pupils make sandwiches in event criticised as chaotic; company issues late-night statement saying all students safe

Garden held its anniversary celebration at the hall of St. Paul's College Tang Chung Ying Secondary School in Wan Chai yesterday (11th), arranging for more than 700 primary school pupils to make sandwiches by hand in an attempt to break a Guinness World Record. The event was criticised for chaotic on-site management, with parents jostling to enter, resulting in pushing and damage to the door handle of the hall. Garden issued a statement late tonight (12th) in response, saying that students had been arranged to leave in an orderly manner in stages, no stampedes or fights occurred, no one was injured, and all students had safely returned to their parents.
