Five-Year Plan makes no mention of fourth cross-harbour tunnel; Mable Chan says it does not mean no study will be done

Secretary for Transport and Logistics Mable Chan told the Legislative Council Panel on Transport that the absence of a fourth cross-harbour tunnel in the Five-Year Plan does not mean it will not be studied. Several members expressed concern that the plan made no mention of the project and asked for an update on its progress. Chan said the authorities were carrying out forward planning for a fourth cross-harbour tunnel and conducting internal studies on various options, including the route and connection points to Victoria Harbour.
