The Transport Department said passengers taking app-hailed taxis to the new Huanggang Port can be dropped off at the urban and New Territories taxi pick-up and drop-off areas at the new port's concourse. Assistant Commissioner for Transport (New Territories) Tse Sin-yi said communication with the trade had taken place and believed it was only an individual misunderstanding within the trade, while the L2 level provides assistance with arrangements for choosing taxi fleets; over 160,000 Hong Kong residents have registered to use the 'co-operative inspection' self-service channels.
