16 Po Leung Kuk staff appointed national security tutors, "participation not compulsory"

Po Leung Kuk announced that 16 staff members had been appointed as district tutors for national security education after training, and that a national security task force had been set up to further encourage staff, service users and the public to understand the importance of national security. The Social Welfare Department wrote to social welfare organisations this year, inviting them to nominate managers as district tutors for national security. A tutor stressed that activities were voluntary and would not compel colleagues or service users to take part, and that tutor status would not affect their daily work.
