New Huanggang Port opening to see about 100 taxis on standby; street taxis must take queue tickets to pick up passengers

The taxi industry quoted the government as saying that about 100 taxis will wait for passengers at the public transport interchange in the initial period after the new Huanggang Port opens, of which 70 New Territories taxis and 30 urban taxis must drop off passengers before taking a queue ticket to pick up passengers. The port has a dedicated pick-up area for taxi fleets, and ordinary street taxis cannot take reservation business; the person in charge of one fleet said that dozens of vehicles would be arranged initially to carry passengers according to demand.
