CLP Lai Chi Kok to Tsz Wan Shan power supply line voltage dips; Fire Services Department receives 178 reports of people trapped in lifts

A 400,000-volt power supply line operated by CLP connecting Lai Chi Kok to Tsz Wan Shan recorded a brief voltage dip at about 1:09pm, during which power supply was not interrupted. The Fire Services Department received 178 reports of people trapped in lifts and 39 reports of fire alarm activations in Kowloon and the New Territories, with another 4 people injured. Rescue and follow-up operations have concluded.
