Financial Secretary Delivers Speech at Launch Ceremony of "BOC Caring for the Community" Celebrating National Day and Launching Healthy Ageing Services

Financial Secretary Paul Chan delivered a speech at the launch ceremony of "BOC Caring for the Community" Healthy Ageing Services on 2 October, thanking Bank of China (Hong Kong), the HKFTU, Yan Chai Hospital and the Faculty of Dentistry of the University of Hong Kong for jointly organising the event. The scheme will provide free traditional Chinese medicine consultations and oral care, and enhance the elderly's financial management and fraud prevention awareness through lectures and home visits. Since the launch of the "Chronic Disease Co-Care Scheme" in November 2023, more than 260,000 citizens have participated, about 60 per cent have completed screening, and it was regularised in March this year.
