Fire Services Department joins other departments in joint inspections, finding 5 fire hazard violations

The Fire Services Department, together with the Buildings Department and the Labour Department, launched cross-departmental joint inspections, finding 5 fire hazard violations. The inspections covered building structures and fire safety in common areas of buildings, as well as frontline construction procedures and occupational safety and health aspects. The authorities will follow up on the obstruction of escape routes by clutter and will prosecute or issue a "Notice to Remove Fire Hazards" to the relevant persons.
