Development Bureau Has Submitted Report to CE on Queen Mary Hospital Lift Investigation; 7 Lifts Open for Use

The Development Bureau says it has submitted an investigation report to the Chief Executive on lift works issues at the new clinical block of Queen Mary Hospital, and will report to the Legislative Council Panel on Development as soon as possible. So far, repairs have been completed on 17 lifts, of which 7 have been opened for use by staff and the public after acceptance checks, with the remaining repairs expected to be completed within the fourth quarter.
