Hong Kong Stocks Rise Over 100 Points in Early Afternoon; Tech Index Up Over 2%

Hong Kong stocks held steady in early afternoon trading. The Hang Seng Index was last at 23,414 points, up 119 points, or 0.51 per cent. The Tech Index was at 3,836 points, up 81 points, or 2.17 per cent.
