Civil Service Bureau Sets Up Inquiry Panel to Investigate Civil Servant Responsibility Over Fire Risk in Wang Fuk Court Works
公務員敍用委員會組成調查小組調查有關公務員與宏福苑工程相關火警風險的個人責任
The Civil Service Bureau has formed an inquiry panel under section 5 of the Inquiry Regulations to investigate the personal responsibility of staff in 4 departments identified in the independent committee's report for supervising fire risks in the Wang Fuk Court works. The panel comprises Chairman Cheng Mei-sze and members Kung Yeung Yan-chi and Wong Kwun-man, and a support office has been set up to assist with evidence gathering and meetings with the civil servants concerned. It must complete the investigation within 3 months.
The inquiry panel was formed under section 5 of the Inquiry Regulations, its terms of reference cover the personal responsibility of staff in 4 departments, and it is required to complete its work within 3 months.
