Huanggang Port officially opens on 2026 October 12 with 24-hour clearance

The Security Bureau and the Port Office of the Shenzhen Municipal People's Government jointly announced that Huanggang Port is due to officially commence operations on 2026 October 12 at 6:30 a.m., providing 24-hour clearance services for travellers and passenger vehicles. The Hong Kong port boundary area and the relevant extension areas have been in use since midnight on 2026 July 31 and are subject to jurisdiction in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region; at the same time, clearance services at the temporary passenger inspection building of Shenzhen's Huanggang Port and at Lok Ma Chau Control Station are suspended.
The announcement sets out the date and time of the official opening, the 24-hour clearance arrangements and the passenger inspection services concurrently suspended, allowing travellers to check their travel plans accordingly.
