LCSD announces red flags hoisted at four beaches in Southern District and Sai Kung

The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced that, due to high waves, red flags have been hoisted at Stanley Main Beach, Shek O Beach and Big Wave Bay Beach in the Southern District of Hong Kong Island, as well as Silverstrand Beach in the Sai Kung District. Members of the public are advised not to swim there. Red flags indicate that swimming there is dangerous, and radio and television duty announcers must broadcast the special report as soon as possible.
