Standard Chartered Group Holds Board Meeting in Hong Kong This Week to Consolidate Hong Kong's Strategic Market Position

Standard Chartered Group held a board meeting in Hong Kong this week. Chair Maria Ramos stated her commitment to and confidence in Hong Kong, saying that with Hong Kong setting out a vision for the next 5 years, the overall momentum has become stronger. She led board members, together with Group Chief Executive Bill Winters and the management team, in meeting customers, colleagues and other stakeholders to discuss the group's long-term strategy. Ramos believes that Hong Kong, as the world's largest offshore renminbi business hub, international wealth management centre and super connector, will continue to leverage its advantages.
