Centre for Food Safety Tests 184 Samples of Japanese Imported Aquatic Products, All Radiation Levels Within Limits

The Centre for Food Safety has tested 184 samples of Japanese imported "aquatic products and their products, seaweed and sea salt" from noon on 29 October to noon today, and found no radiation levels exceeding safety standards. Over the same period, the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department tested 52 local fishery product samples, all of which passed; the Observatory has also strengthened monitoring of environmental radiation levels in Hong Kong waters, with no abnormalities found so far.
