Hong Kong Cyclothon Moves Start to West Kowloon, First Time via Central Kowloon Bypass; Sarah Lee Hopes for More New Routes

The Hong Kong Cyclothon organised by the Hong Kong Tourism Board was held today (11th), with the start and finish moved to Museum Drive at the West Kowloon Cultural District. The 56km category started at 5:15am, passing through the "five tunnels and three bridges" and the Central Kowloon Bypass, which was opened to cycling activities for the first time. Over 4,000 people took part in the 56km race, and a non-competitive "World University Cup" event was added this year. Sarah Lee said the new route was very special and hoped the organisers would study more new routes in future.
