ICBC Lists in Shanghai and Hong Kong in 2006, Setting Record for World's Largest IPO

ICBC listed in Hong Kong and Shanghai on 28 October 2006, raising a record amount for a global IPO. Its H-shares rose 14.7 per cent on the first day, while its A-shares rose only 5.1 per cent; after listing, it immediately joined the ranks of the world's most valuable banks.
