Hong Kong Cyclothon to be held on Sunday; 120 franchised bus routes and 7 green minibus routes to be diverted in phases

The Hong Kong Cyclothon will be held tomorrow. The 56-km non-competitive event will, for the first time, feature a route covering five tunnels and three bridges, including the new section of the Central Kowloon Route. From 1am, 120 franchised bus routes and 7 green minibus routes will be diverted, shortened or have their stop locations changed in phases. The Transport Department expects congestion on several roads, including the Lantau Link towards Kowong, compared with a typical Sunday, and urges motorists to avoid driving to affected areas.
