Hong Kong Stocks Up 3 Points at Half-Day, Hang Seng Index at 23,529 Points, Tech Index Down 1%

Hong Kong stocks closed the half-day session at 23,529 points, up 3 points, with main board turnover exceeding $87.7 billion; the tech index stood at 3,828 points, down 1%. All of the ATMXJ fell, with JD.com and Alibaba down nearly 2%, while auto and AI large-model shares posted larger declines, with XPeng, NIO, Li Auto, MINIMAX and Zhipu down more than 3% to about 4%. Chip and pharmaceutical stocks rose, with BeiGene, WuXi Biologics and WuXi AppTec up nearly 5% or more, making them the 3 best-performing blue chips.
