Grant Thornton Hong Kong report: Hong Kong listed company executives "not ready" for the AI era

A Grant Thornton Hong Kong report said that executives of Hong Kong's largest listed companies severely lack technology expertise, with less than 1% of directors possessing artificial intelligence or cybersecurity skills. The company's 15th annual corporate governance review surveyed 100 large listed companies in the Hang Seng Composite Index, and 59% of the companies viewed cybersecurity or artificial intelligence as a major business risk.
