The Abbie Choi murder trial continued in the High Court, where her partner Chris Tam testified that he last received a message from Choi at 2:04 pm on the day of the incident, and later discovered through her phone's location that she was in Tai Po, while her phone had also been switched back on. Tam also said that Li Shui-hung questioned him at the scene for reporting the case too early, saying, "They might just want money. You reported it so quickly, how would they give you the money?" He admitted borrowing 5 million in Macau but denied that Kwok Kong-kit repaid the debt on his behalf.
