Centre for Food Safety Tests 408 Samples of Japanese Imported Aquatic Products, All Radiation Levels Within Limits

From noon on 23 October to noon today, the Centre for Food Safety has tested 408 samples of Japanese imported "aquatic products and their products, seaweed and sea salt", and found no radiation levels exceeding safety standards. Over the same period, the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department tested 150 local fishery product samples, all of which passed. The Observatory has strengthened monitoring of environmental radiation levels in Hong Kong waters and has so far found no abnormalities.
