Government sells fourth batch of digital green bonds worth about HK$20 billion equivalent

The HKSAR Government has successfully priced the fourth batch of digital green bonds worth about HK$20 billion equivalent, covering Hong Kong dollars, renminbi, US dollars and euros. The issuance introduced tokenised deposits into the Hong Kong dollar bond primary settlement process through EnsembleTX and adopted Bond Data Taxonomy 2.0. Financial Secretary Paul Chan said the issuance was oversubscribed.
