Abby Choi's mother denied in court on Monday that she repeatedly fell into debt through gambling, saying former son-in-law Alex Kwong's claim that he had paid off her debts was full of lies. She accused him of demanding HK$150,000 in shopping expenses while failing to return the more than HK$70 million that Choi had given him to invest.
