HKMA Urges Public to Beware of Fraudulent Websites and Phishing Emails Related to Bank of East Asia and Chiyu Banking

The Hong Kong Monetary Authority reminds the public that banks will not direct customers to websites for transactions through hyperlinks in SMS messages or emails, nor will they ask for login passwords and one-time passwords.
