Lo Chung-Mau Meets Beijing Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine Director Luo Zenggang in Beijing

Secretary for Health Lo Chung-Mau today met Beijing Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine Director Luo Zenggang in Beijing, introducing Hong Kong's policy direction and latest measures for traditional Chinese medicine development and discussing deeper Beijing-Hong Kong cooperation on traditional Chinese medicine. Lo mentioned measures including the Hong Kong Chinese Medicine Hospital launching 24-hour inpatient services by the end of this year and the establishment of an international joint committee on herb-drug interactions. Tomorrow he will lead a delegation to attend the 2026 World Conference on Traditional Medicine in Beijing.
