Accenture: Hong Kong firms lag mainland in AI adoption, legacy system burden a drag

An Accenture survey showed that only 10% of Hong Kong firms have integrated generative AI across multiple business functions, compared with about 21% of mainland firms. Robert Hah, head of Accenture's Hong Kong office, said that deeply entrenched legacy systems and a risk-averse corporate mindset are slowing the digital transformation of Hong Kong firms.
