環保署指部分監測站空氣健康風險達嚴重

環保署表示，自今日上午起錄得較平常為高的空氣污染水平，部分空氣質素監測站的空氣質素健康指數健康風險級別已達至嚴重水平。署方指本港今日風勢微弱，不利污染物擴散，充沛陽光助長光化煙霧活動。天文台預測一股東北季候風會在今日稍後影響華南沿岸，預料屆時本港空氣質素會得到改善。

The Environmental Protection Department says that since this morning it has recorded higher-than-usual air pollution levels, and the health risk level of the Air Quality Health Index at some air quality monitoring stations has reached serious. The department says weak winds today are unfavourable to pollutant dispersion, and expects air quality to improve after the northeast monsoon affects the coast of southern China later. The authorities call on children, the elderly and patients with heart or respiratory diseases to reduce outdoor activities.
