空氣質素健康指數風險級別已達嚴重水平
The Environmental Protection Department says that since this morning it has recorded higher-than-usual air pollution levels, and the health risk level of the Air Quality Health Index at some air quality monitoring stations has reached serious. The department says weak winds today are unfavourable to pollutant dispersion, and expects air quality to improve after the northeast monsoon affects the coast of southern China later. The authorities call on children, the elderly and patients with heart or respiratory diseases to reduce outdoor activities.
The EPD announced that the health risk level at some monitoring stations has reached serious since this morning, and listed specific protective advice for children, the elderly and outdoor workers.
