The meal allowance in lieu of free meals remains at not less than $1,236 a month.

The department subsequently issued more than 30 notices in respect of unattended items and removed over 80 kilograms of items obstructing cleansing. The Food and Environmental Hygiene Department reminded employers that domestic helpers engaging in illegal hawking have violated their conditions of stay, and must obey the law and maintain environmental hygiene.
