Asset management company Schroders CEO: Hong Kong business to expand after merger with Nuveen

Schroders global CEO Richard Oldfield said that after merging with US asset management company Nuveen, the company would increase investment and staffing in Hong Kong. He said Hong Kong serves as a key gateway to mainland China through mechanisms such as the Wealth Management Connect, which was launched in 2021 and allows Greater Bay Area investors to purchase wealth management products cross-border.
