Mainland tourists flood Hong Kong shops during National Day "Golden Week", retailers say spending is modest

Large numbers of mainland tourists poured into Hong Kong shops on the first two days of the National Day "Golden Week", but the Hong Kong Retail Management Association said that while shopping districts were busy, tourist spending remained relatively restrained. The association said on Friday that the increase in visitor numbers may be greater than the increase in retail sales.
