More Crowds in Lan Kwai Fong Over Halloween Weekend as Police Impose Crowd Control

Crowds increased in Lan Kwai Fong, Central, on Halloween weekend evenings, and police implemented crowd control measures, with some MTR Central Station entrances and exits closed intermittently as needed. The Lan Kwai Fong Association said the atmosphere around this year's Halloween activities was very good and that businesses all recorded growth in turnover. The government expects cross-border passenger and vehicle flows to increase in the late-night period, and some public transport routes to and from boundary crossings have been operating with more frequent services.
