The Electrical and Mechanical Services Department said that inspection and installation of door frame components has begun in all buildings where Taiji installed lifts, including 2 Tenants Purchase Scheme estates and 338 private buildings. The department has completed inspections of these buildings and will regulate Taiji's non-compliance under the Lifts and Escalators Ordinance, while police are following up on a criminal investigation.
