JLL: Hong Kong Construction Costs More Than 60 Per Cent Higher Than Asia-Pacific

JLL points out that, affected by a severe land shortage, construction costs for industrial and logistics facilities in Hong Kong are approaching or even rising above HK$19,500 per square metre, more than 60 per cent higher than the Asia-Pacific average. Rising construction costs are affecting capital allocation decisions in major cities, with Hong Kong the most significantly affected.
