Hong Kong Ranks 24 in 2026 Global Rule of Law Index, Ranking Unchanged but Overall Score Falls

The World Justice Project has published the 2026 Global Rule of Law Index. Hong Kong remains 24th among 143 countries and territories worldwide, the same as last year. On a scale of 0 to 1, Hong Kong scores 0.71, down slightly by 1.1 per cent from last year, also a new low alongside its ranking.
