Prudential survey: Over half of Hong Kong workers say AI makes retirement prospects harder to predict

A Prudential survey showed that 55% of working respondents believe the widespread adoption of AI in the workplace makes retirement prospects harder to predict, while 44% said they need to prepare more retirement funds. The survey, conducted in August among over 1,000 Hong Kong residents aged 30 or above with monthly work income of at least $15,000, found that nearly 60% estimated they would need to save and invest more than $5 million to retire with peace of mind, of whom 22% believed they would need more than $10 million.
