Guangzhou Ferry Pier Passenger Flow Falls as Bus Group Draws on Revitalisation Experience to Shift into Dining and Cultural Tourism

With most cross-river routes cancelled, the passenger ferry company under Guangzhou Bus Group needs to revitalise ferry piers that are disused or see little passenger flow. Some Pearl River cruise piers are proving popular, and the company is drawing on revitalisation experience such as that of Hong Kong's Star Ferry to upgrade piers into dining and cultural tourism destinations.
