Chan Kwok-ki Inspects Huanggang and Shenzhen Bay Ports, Instructs Security Bureau to Ensure Safe and Orderly Cross-Border Clearance

Chief Secretary for Administration Chan Kwok-ki inspected Shenzhen Bay Port and Huanggang Port this morning and has instructed the Security Bureau to make every effort to ensure port operations are safe, efficient and orderly, and to open additional inspection counters and vehicle lanes early before peaks in passenger and vehicle flows. He also asked the Transport and Logistics Bureau to coordinate with public transport operators to reserve sufficient vehicles and manpower for flexible deployment according to passenger flow, and called on travellers to plan their journeys in advance and travel outside peak periods.
