Kai Tak Hospital begins phased commissioning today, with the first phase including the specialist outpatient building and the oncology building, which will be the first to provide general outpatient services. Legislative Council member Yeung Wing-kit said some buses directly serving the hospital run only once every 30 minutes, and suggested that as foot traffic increases, the frequency be raised to every 10 to 15 minutes.
